Matt holiday

My blog this week is going to be about Matthew Holiday. He currently is left outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals. Matt Holiday was born in Stillwater, Ok on 1/15/1980. His annual salary is over $15 million dollars a year, he made his debut on April 16, 2004. He was drafted in 1998 to the Colorado Rockies during the 7th round, 210th pick overall. His distinctions include six All-Star selections, four Silver Slugger Awards, a National League Championship Series Most Valuable Player Award (NLCS MVP), and a Darryl Kile Good Guy Award. In 2014, he became just the fifth player in MLB history to amass nine consecutive seasons of at least 20 home runs, 30 doubles, 75 RBI and 80 runs scored each season.

Carinals pitcher Adam Wainwright

St.Louis Cardinals Pitcher Adam Wainwright was born on August 30, 1981. He currently is an American Major League Baseball Ace pitcher for the cardinals he started his career in baseball by being the 29th pick in the first round of the 2000 amateur draft. His performance in the minor leagues put him in a position for being braves top starting pitcher. The braves traded him in 2003 to the cardinals where he started as a relief pitcher and closer. Wainwright made his debut in September 2005 Against the New York Mets.
